Born and raised in central Kansas, I was transplanted into Oklahoma red dirt as a young adult. My professional career of over 30 years in organizational development has given me the opportunity to grow, flourish, and give back to the world. Incredibly, life has also allowed me to follow my head and heart, diving into the world of wine!

My earliest memories of enjoying wine include a sip or two of my Grandparents’ homemade wine during family dinners. I enjoy touring California wine country and recently spent time in the Chianti region of Tuscany, Italy! I am currently pursuing my WSET wine tasting certification, recently completing Level I.

I am a very proud dad of two grown Okies, James & Kennedy, and I live in Oklahoma City with my partner, Rob. In addition to my wine interests, I can be found spending time with friends, traveling, studying family history, and enjoying country music!

 

In 2021, I had the pleasure of being introduced to Scout & Cellar by a close friend and immediately fell in love with their crisp, clean bodied varietals. I knew immediately I had to share them with everyone. So, in 2023, I joined the team and have been enjoying every client experience since.
